Quick Links
The Quick Links page provides links to some of the frequently performed operations, such as creating volumes, shares, and LUNs. You can also configure protocols that are allowed on the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) if you have not already done so while creating the SVM.
Protocols
Displays the protocols that are allowed on this SVM. You can click the protocol link to configure it.
Note: If the FCP service is already started for the SVM, clicking the FC link and the FCoE link opens the Network Interfaces window.
The color indicates the status of the protocol configuration:
Create Volume
Opens the Create Volume dialog box.
This option is not enabled if an Infinite Volume already exists.
Create Share
Opens the Create Share dialog box. You can create a share only if the CIFS service is configured and running.
Note: This link is displayed only if the CIFS license is enabled on the cluster.
Create LUN
Opens the Create LUN wizard. You can create LUNs for an existing aggregate, volume, or qtree when free space is available.
Note: This link is displayed only if the iSCSI or FC license is enabled on the cluster.
Network Interfaces
Opens the Network Interfaces page, which you can use to view a list of network interfaces and create, edit, or delete interfaces from your SVM.
Windows Local Users and Groups
Opens the Windows page, which you can use to maintain a list of local Windows users and groups for the SVM if the CIFS service is configured and running.
Note: This link is displayed only if the CIFS license is enabled on the cluster.
Unix Local Users and Groups
Opens the Unix page, which you can use to maintain a list of local UNIX users and groups for the SVM.
Note: This link is displayed only if the NFS license is enabled on the cluster.
Storage
Opens the Storage navigation page.
Policies
Opens the Policies navigation page.
Protection
Opens the Protection page.
Note: This link is displayed only if the SnapMirror license or the SnapVault license is enabled on the cluster.
